In some cases, you'll need to manually log an interaction, such as an email that comes in to an account that isn't connected to Contactually, a call from a different phone number, or an impromptu meeting at the coffee shop. You can do this a few different ways:
Via the contact sidebar
Click the contact's name on the Dashboard or Contacts tab to open the contact sidebar. Click "Add Interaction" under the "+" to log an Interaction.

Via the Contacts page
You can also log bulk interactions (the same interaction for multiple contacts) this way.
On the Contacts page, click the checkbox(es) to select the contact(s) for whom you want to log the Interaction. Click "Add Interaction" from the action bar at the bottom and log the Interaction.

On the contact profile
Search for the contact and open the contact's profile. Find the Interaction section below the contact information and add the details of your Interaction, making sure to select the date/time and type of Interaction.
On the Dashboard
There may be times when Contactually prompts you to follow up with a contact or complete a task for a contact, but you've already called or met with the person. You can log this Interaction from the Dashboard, and the reminder will disappear.
For Follow-Up Reminders: Hover over the Follow-up button and choose "Already followed up". Log your Interaction in the window that comes up.
For Tasks: Hover over the Done button and choose "Done & log interaction". Log your Interaction in the window that comes up.
