How to send an email in Contactually
You can send an email directly from Contactually. The email will send from your email address, and a copy of the message will be saved both in Contactually and in your email's sent folder. If the recipient responds to the email, you'll receive the response in your email's inbox, but also in Contactually, to continue the conversation from there. All sent and received emails will log under the appropriate contacts in Contactually.
Sending emails from Contactually allows you to streamline your workflow by quickly following up with prompts on your Dashboard or executing Program steps. It also allows you to add email tracking and scheduling, and use email templates.
There are four ways to send an email in Contactually:
Via the contact sidebar
Click the contact's name on the Dashboard or Contacts tab to open the contact sidebar. Click the email icon at the top, or hover and click to select an email address (if they have more than one). The email message composer will load, and the sidebar will remain open for you to use as needed.
Via the contact profile
Search for the contact and go to the contact's profile. Click Follow Up to the right of the contact's name.
On the Dashboard
You can complete a Follow-Up by sending an email. Click the Follow Up button on the right side of the Follow-Up Reminder.
Via the Contacts page
Select the checkbox next to one or more contacts and a bar will appear at the bottom of the page with options. Click ScaleMail. ScaleMail is typically used to personalize similar individual messages to multiple users.
