How do I set up or change my bucket rules?

What are Buckets and how do they work?

Buckets are how you organize and segregate your contacts. We send you daily reminders of who to follow up with based on the buckets you've organized and the bucket rules you've set.

Bucket rules are your way of telling Contactually who your important contacts are and how frequently you want to be reminded to get in touch with them. Note that the rule interval starts from the last time you emailed or logged an interaction for your contact so starting points are different for each contact. For imported contacts where there is no email history, the starting point will be the date the contact was added into your Contactually account.

Properly setting up your Bucket rules along with your Follow up frequency settings will ensure that no important contact will fall through the cracks.

To change your bucket rules, click on the bucket that you wish to change the bucket rule for. On the top right, you will see the bucket rule. Click on it to change.
