Here are some basic troubleshooting steps you can try in order to resolve issues you're experiencing with the iOS app.
General best practice tip
When you run into problems and/or are attempting to fix them, it's usually advisable to isolate and dedicate the processing power of your device to the app you're trying to use (in this case, the Contactually app). To do this, close all running applications. Then relaunch the app and see if the problem persists.
Power cycle your device
The step may vary from device to device, but generally, all you need to do is hold the Sleep/Hold button a few seconds until the screen below appears.
Slide right to power the device off. Wait two minutes. Then power the device back on. Check to see if the issue you were experiencing has gone away.
Update your app
To ensure you have the latest version of the app, update the app regularly and check the App Store for any available updates.
Tap the App Store icon. Then tap on Update. If the Contactually app has a blue "Update" option, tap it to make sure you have the most updated version.
Disable or enable contacts sync
Many common issues stem from contact syncing, so it may help to disable or enable the sync functionality.
1. Close the Contactually app.
2. Open your phone's Settings.
3. Find Contactually in the list of apps and tap it.
4. Toggle the Contacts switch to off.
5. Launch the Contactually app again.
If the Contacts switch was already toggled off, you can try toggling it so that it's on and then relaunching the Contactually app again.
