Exchange email settings in Outlook

How to find Exchange email settings in Outlook
 



Outlook Mail

1. Click the settings gear at the top right and click Options.





2. Click POP and IMAP on the left hand side under Accounts.

3. Find your server name under IMAP Setting and copy it. This is listed under IMAP but also serves as your Exchange server.

 





4. Go to Contactually's Settings and click Email on the left hand side.

5. Click the Exchange icon.

6. Enter your email address, login, and password. Your login can be your entire email address, everything before the @ in your email address, DOMAIN\username, or your username. Because there are so many different login options, it's best to contact your IT administrator or web host and ask.

7. Paste the server address in the server field.

8. Click Connect.


 

Outlook 2013

1. Open Outlook and click File at the top left.

2. Click Account Settings and then Account Settings again.

3. The Account Settings window will appear. Click the email account you want to connect to Contactually and click Change.

4. The Change Account window will appear. Find the incoming mail server and copy it. 
This is listed under IMAP but also serves as your Exchange server.




Outlook 2010

The instructions for Outlook 2010 are the same as for Outlook 2013, although the appearance of the windows is slightly different.





Outlook 2007

1. Open Outlook and click Tools at the top.

2. Click Account Settings.

3. The Account Settings window will appear. Click the email you want to connect to Contactually and click Change.

4. The Change Account window will appear. Find the incoming mail server and copy it. 
This is listed under IMAP but also serves as your Exchange server.





5. Go to Contactually's Settings and click Email on the left hand side.

6. Click the Exchange icon.

7. Enter your email address, login, and password. Your login can be your entire email address, everything before the @ in your email address, DOMAIN\username, or your username. Because there are so many different login options, it's best to contact your IT administrator or web host and ask.

8. Paste the server address in the server field.

9. Click Connect.


Outlook 2003

1. Open Outlook and click Tools at the top.

2. Click Email Accounts.

3. Select "View or change existing email accounts" and click Next.

4. The new window will show your email address and incoming mail server. Copy the incoming mail server. 
This may be listed under IMAP but also serves as your Exchange server.

5. Go to Contactually's Settings and click Email on the left hand side.

6. Click the Exchange icon.

7. Enter your email address, login, and password. Your login can be your entire email address, everything before the @ in your email address, DOMAIN\username, or your username. Because there are so many different login options, it's best to contact your IT administrator or web host and ask.

8. Paste the server address in the server field.

9. Click Connect.
