Why am I getting my sent messages in my inbox?

When you send a message via Contactually, we initially try to use your email account's server and these emails would appear in your Sent folder. However, some IMAP servers and Exchange servers may have restrictions on how much access it allows third party applications. In any event that we are forced to use our own mail servers instead of your email account's server, a BCC of the email will be sent to your email address as a copy.

To disable or enable this option:

1. Go to 'Settings', then choose 'Email' on the left pane.




2. Scroll down until you see 'Sending Messages'. Tick the checkbox that says, 'If you have to send a message through Contactually's mail servers, BCC me'. 



After doing so, a green notification will pop up to confirm.



Note: If you have not checked that box, you will not get a BCC of your sent email.
