How do I make Templates for Introductions?

Last Updated: Dec 04, 2016 03:10PM EST
If you want a more personalized template for making introductions, you can do so by following these steps.

1. Log in to your Contactually account and click on Templates.

2. Click on 'Create Email Template'.

3. On the 'Type' drop down, choose 'Intro Template'.

4. Name your template and type in a goal if needed.

5. Same as message templates, you will be able to use dynamic fields. These are found on the right side. The difference is that there are two 'contact field' drop downs for each of the contacts that you would introduce and a 'personal field' dropdown containing fields specific to your profile. These can be used in the subject line as well.

6. Type in your Intro. Just click on the buttons on the right side to insert the snippet for the dynamic field.

**The contact fields drop down will pull data from your contact's profile
example: 'First Name' will populate the template with your contact's first name.

**The personal fields drop down will pull data from your profile
example; 'First Name' will populate the template with your first name.
You may also add an attachment by clicking on '+Add Attachment' at the bottom.

7. Hit 'Save'.
